Equipment Information:

No Rollerblades!!!

All players must wear a CSA approved helmet with full facial protection, ice hockey gloves, running shoes, shin pads and standard hockey stick (no plastic). Although not mandatory, it is recommended that players wear athletic cup, elbow pads, knee pads and mouth guards.

2 types of balls are officially recognized for play by the CBHA. It is usually orange in appearance and not much larger than a tennis ball. A hard (Pro) version is recommended for adult warm climate play. The soft (Recreation) version is recommended for younger youth age groups and all winter play. D-Gel product (350) hard or (360) soft will be used.
